Espadrille-inspired
The espadrille is back and it is being offered in a number of different interpretations for the spring/summer 2011 season. The familiar flat espadrille is back but we are also seeing interest in implementing the espadrille treatment into platform and wedge designs. Braiding, multi-coloration and play of weight and placement are some of the most popular ways of updating the classic espadrille.

Clever cutting

We are talking about "shoes" and "design." Maartje Halink. Maartje Halink is a shoedesigner graduated at the ArtEZ academy in Arnhem. Besides designing shoes she learnd 'the craft of making shoes' in Nieuwegein. She did her internship with shoedesigner Hester Vlamings. In this period she learned more about drawing designs suitable for the industry and she made many designs for different shoe brands.

Tea flavored ground pork dry noodle

I usually go to the Tea Station for hot milk tea. On this visit, me and my sister tried their meals as well. Their tea flavored ground pork dry noodle was so yummy. Ground pork was deliciously seasoned. The portion and the price were just perfect!

I tried simple and delicious miso based ramen at SHIN-SEN-GUMI Japanese Ramen in Marukai Pacific i Garneda. It is topped with thinly sliced pork, pickled bamboo, Chinese cabbage and green onions.
